I could actually identify with the story even not being a big super hero fan. The reason is probably that the world seems to be falling in chaos with all the wars going on and the economic problems we face nowadays. We really need a superhero! Like the story!

Thanks Rishi and Matias, we also would love to see a movie like this. Alfredo, some of the action in the end is very much Dark Knight 1. Classic one. Tapani, you are right. We pretty much need this inspiration from heroes. And the stories are starting to show the heroes reflecting about their condition in our society.

Another epic story. Superman reminds me slightly of Dr. Manhattan from the Watchmen. How does the world really look from a bird's eye view? Sometimes we forget that. Superheroes have delivered hope and inspiration to the western world for decades. Maybe we need those stories, of superior beings who protect and guide us, and set standards. Only now that the world has been getting rougher every day, even the superheroes start to wonder: is this planet and its inhabitants worth saving?

Very fine! A slightly different way to present the man of steel. Maybe, something alike in Frank Miller's Dark Knight 2. Good point. It would be wonderful if DC and Hollywood had such an storyline to reshape their characters.
