Researching life in the Himalayas.\u00c2\u00a0Walking the endless narrow trails I was hoping not to bump into a snow leopard. \u00c2\u00a0It was easy to imagine that at any moment we could get a glance of a Yeti or Vasu\u00c2\u00a0from behind one of the many bushes.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.goldenlionchronicles.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/goldenlionchronicles_himalayas_021.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-567\" src=\"http:\/\/www.goldenlionchronicles.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/goldenlionchronicles_himalayas_021.jpg\" alt=\"goldenlionchronicles_himalayas_02\" width=\"620\" height=\"412\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>When we started working on our webcomics: The Golden Lion and decided it would be set in the Himalayas, we used our imagination to recreate it.\u00c2\u00a0We collected all the material available on internet and testimonials from people who&#8217;ve been there.\u00c2\u00a0Although we were not far from an acceptable representation, walking in the mountains, feeling the icy wind descending from the top of the ridge was an irreplaceable experience.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.goldenlionchronicles.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/goldenlionchronicles_himalayas_031.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-568\" src=\"http:\/\/www.goldenlionchronicles.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/goldenlionchronicles_himalayas_031.jpg\" alt=\"goldenlionchronicles_himalayas_03\" width=\"620\" height=\"415\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s like diving into a world where every step we experience something that can be turned into a new story.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>And there I was, on top of the world, watching the vegetation, the temples and\u00c2\u00a0rock formations.
